Vanilla rooibos latte

An editorial starting recipe, ready for your own taste adjustments. It has not yet been kitchen-tested by Tea Planet.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup / 120 ml freshly boiled water
  • 2 plain rooibos tea bags, about 4 g total
  • ½ cup / 120 ml milk or oat milk
  • ¼ tsp / 1.25 ml vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tsp / 7–14 g honey, optional

Method

  1. Put the rooibos bags in a heat-safe mug and add the boiling water. Steep for 5–7 minutes, following the package if it differs.
  2. Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan for 3–4 minutes without boiling.
  3. Remove the tea bags. Stir the vanilla and optional honey into the rooibos.
  4. Whisk or froth the milk if desired, then pour it into the mug. Taste and serve warm.
